Things to Do in Bermuda: Golf & Tennis
“Bermuda is a golfer’s paradise with six world-class courses threaded throughout the island’s 21 square miles – more golf courses per capita than anywhere else in the world. The best links men and women of the past century (not to mention movie stars, presidents and royalty) have played here. Each course is designed with diverse terrain and challenges, as well as sweeping ocean views. Warning: After a round in Bermuda, other courses will likely pale in comparison.” (Bermuda Tourism Authority)
Azura, sitting centrally on the island, is close to many of these renowned golf courses. Mid Ocean Club and Tucker’s Point Club are less than 20 minutes, Port Royal less than 15 Minutes, Turtle Hill at Fairmont Southampton and Belmont Hills are less than 10 minutes away. Transportation and club rentals can be easily arranged for you.
For more information, we recommend checking out the BTA’s golf blogs for inspiration and planning.
If you are interested in tennis, it’s worth packing that racquet! Like golf, tennis is played all year-round in Bermuda, and there are courts accessible for Azura’s guests, just a short trip down the road at clubs like Pomander Gate and Elbow Beach. Simply reach out to our concierge to help you book a court or a lesson.
